The Road Safety visit for Stage 1 is a magnificent way for the students to feel really involved with what
happens on the road around them.
Travelling as a passenger is not the same as seeing a scaled-down version of a real road with traffic lights, zebra crossings and road signs.
All the work we have done in class has been put to the test in a very practical way. Coming into close contact with the police has also been an important experience to build positive relationships of respect and trust.
It was clear from the expressions on the students’ faces and their enthusiasm that the day was a great success!
