TALLER COMERCIO JUSTO ¿QUIÉN HACE EL NEGOCIO?
Los alumnos de 1º de bachillerato del área de Economía han realizado este taller impartido por Madre Coraje. ¿Por qué es necesario tener espíritu crítico? ¿Por qué es importante desarrollarlo? Los alumnos, a través de la técnica de la lluvia de ideas, han trabajado alrededor del concepto “comercio internacional” y han reflexionado sobre los intercambios comerciales y sobre la importación/exportación de productos. Durante la experiencia, han analizado de dónde procede la mayoría de los productos cercanos a ellos, han revisado las etiquetas de su ropa y han sido conscientes de los países de los que procede.
Por equipos, han representado los eslabones de la cadena comercial conociendo el porcentaje real de beneficio que obtiene cada elemento.
A modo de conclusión, los alumnos han aprendido que el comercio justo es una alternativa a las relaciones injustas del comercio internacional y la importancia de las cooperativas de comercio justo como garantía de condiciones ecuánimes en el comercio.
Agradecer a Madre Coraje esta iniciativa que permite que los jóvenes se conciencien de la importancia del consumo responsable.
FAIR TRADE WORKSHOP, WHO MAKES A PROFFIT?
Lower sixth Form pupils from the Economics branch took part in this workshop offered by Madre Coraje. Why is a critical spirit necessary? Why is it important to develop? Pupils, through the brainstorm technique, worked on the concept “international commerce” and have been considering the business exchanges and talking about importing and exporting products. Suring the experience, pupils analysed where the majority of products around them come from, they have studied the tags on their clothes and they have gained knowledge about the countries they come from.
Working by teams, they have represented the commercial chain and learning about the real benefits percentage obtained by each element.
In conclusion, pupils learned that fair trade is an alternative to the unfair relations of international commerce and the importance of fair trade cooperatives as a guarantee of equal conditions in business.
We would like to thank Madre Coraje for this initiative which allows our young ones to become aware of the importance of responsible consumption.
