ECI Alumni Work Experience Placements

Bea bringing the Stage 1 children in from play

Alison Gopnik, the child psychologist and educationalist says that working with small children is so rewarding because you are working at one the most significant, meaningful and profound times of their lives. So, for Early Years teachers like ourselves, we are currently feeling double the joy: as Beatriz Osborne Jimenez (p.2018-19), ECI Alumni and student of ours has come to join us for her own teacher training practise.

We have been privileged enough to share a significant time in her life and now she is having the chance to do the same with a new generation of pupils! Beatriz has joined us from her Teaching College in Cordoba in January and has been doing an excellent job dedicating her time to understanding and working with our youngest ECI pupils, putting her own skills and knowledge she learnt as a student here, to really good use.

We hope that she can continue to make the best of her time here:- she is already proving that she will make a great teacher.

Africa learning from Seño Lourdes in the Guidance Department
