Julia Ruiz Beláustegui (Head Girl y p. 2016-17), Doble Grado de Traducción e Interpretación y Filología Hispánica en la UCO. Actualmente está realizando el Master in Translation Studies en la UCC de Cork (Irlanda) y el Master de Traducción jurídica por el ISTRAD y la UDIMA, que compagina con estudios de Grado en Dereccho en la UOC. Nuestra ECI Alumni, les explicó a los alumnos de Upper Six, en que consisten los estudios de Traducción, el acceso a ellos, las distintas notas de corte según las facultades y los tipos de traducciones que existen.
Les habló sobre la labor del intérprete, las salidas profesionales y el futuro de la traducción. Los alumnos tras finalizar la conferencia tuvieron un turno de preguntas activas. Agradecer esta oportunidad que han tenido nuestros alumnos de conocer tan de cerca esta profesión.

Our ECI Alumni explained to the Upper Six pupils what Translation studies consist of, how to access them, the different cut-off marks according to the faculties and the types of translations that exist.
