Our Erasmus project “The Family we call Europe” was due to start just as the pandemic hit Greece, where our first trip was scheduled. We have been working together with our partners to reorganise the project and to continue with the contents online using the eTwinning digital platform.
So far pupils from Spain, Poland, Lithuania and Greece have worked together to produce work on national costumes, Christmas traditions in our countries, the Olympic Games, Anglicisms in all 4 native languages, the origins of our different alphabets and mythology from each country. We have just started projects about our common 20th century history, our future within the EU and what we know about the EU.
We have made plans for the possibility of travel in the future, or online if we can’t, and we continue to work with our partners to celebrate “The Family that we call Europe.»
