Estamos de Enhorabuena pues nuestros alumnos han conseguido el I Premio en el Certamen «Tú Proyecto Científico», organizado por la Universidad de Cádiz (UCA), la Unidad de Cultura Científica (UCC+i) y la Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECyT). El premio ha recaído en nuestro proyecto “Safety Baby: ¡No olvides tu bebé!”. Este proyecto, coordinado por D. Juan Álvarez, desarrollado originalmente por nuestras alumnas de 2º Bachillerato Ana Rodríguez y Ana Vinuesa, y presentado por los alumnos de 4º ESO Julio Giménez y Álvaro Tortosa, consiste en un dispositivo que avisa de la presencia de un bebé en el coche para evitar trágicos olvidos como algunos que recientemente han sido noticia. El premio conseguido consiste en 300 euros en material de laboratorio para el Centro.
Además de este proyecto nuestro colegio llevaba a esta fase final otros seis, coordinados por el propio D. Juan Álvarez y Mr. Adam Bull, que han sido magníficamente presentados por otros 15 alumnos de 2º, 3º y 4º ESO.

Congratulations are due for our pupils as they won First place in the Contest “Your Scientific Project”, organised by the Cadiz University (UCA), the Scientific Culture Unit (UCC+i) ant the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECyT). The prize-winning project was our project “Safety Baby: Don’t forget your baby!” This project, coordinated by D. Juan Álvarez, originally developed by our Upper Sixth Form pupils Ana Rodríguez and Ana Vinuesa, and presented by our Secondary year 4 pupils Julio Giménez and Álvaro Tortosa, is based on a device which alerts the presence of a baby in a car to avoid tragedies as the ones we have recently heard about in the news. The prize entails 300euros un laboratory resources for the School.
Apart from this project, our School takes another six projects to the final phase, coordinated by D. Juan Álvarez and Mr. Adam Bull, who were magnificently represented by another 15 pupils from Secondary Years 2, 3 and 4.
