Enhorabuena a Fernando González y Julia Ruiz, nombrados hoy nuestros nuevos Head Boy y Head Girl. Fueron informados de su selección por el equipo de Dirección esta tarde. Estos prestigiosos puestos son finalmente seleccionados por los titulares del Centro tras considerar las recomendaciones de los Jefes de Departamento y Subdirectores.
Queremos aprovechar esta oportunidad para agradecer a Paula Hortas y a Jorge Barallobre su magnífica labor como embajadores del Colegio y por el tiempo y esfuerzo invertidos en el desarrollo de este rol de Head Boy y Head Girl. Además de sus labores oficiales en reuniones y eventos, también han introducido iniciativas como los mensajes de cumpleaños personalizados para toda la comunidad. Julia y Fernando tienen un gran trabajo por delante, pero estamos seguros de que realizarán una excelente labor representado a sus compañeros. ¡Enhorabuena a ellos y a sus familias!
Paula y Jorge seguirán siendo Head Boy y Head Girl hasta su graduación en junio, aunque delegan sus responsabilidades en Julia y Fernando para poder concentrarse en sus exámenes.
La investidura oficial de nuestros nuevos Head Boy y Head Girl será el 17 de marzo a las 16:30 en el Hall y formara parte de la ceremonia de apertura de nuestro Eisteddfod.
Many congratulations to Fernando González and Julia Ruiz who were named our new Head Boy and Head Girl today. They were informed of their selection by the senior leadership team this afternoon. This prestigious position is ultimately chosen by the owners of the school after recommendations from the heads of department. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Paula Hortas and Jorge Barallobre who have been wonderful ambassadors for the school and have invested a lot of time and effort in developing the role of Head Boy and Head Girl. Apart from their official engagements in events and meetings they have also introduced initiatives like personal birthday messages to the community. Julia and Fernando will certainly have a tough act to follow but we are sure that they will do an excellent job in representing their fellow pupils. Many congratulations to them and to their families.
Paula and Jorge will remain Head Boy and Head Girl until their graduation but the duties and responsibilities will now pass on to Julia and Fernando so that they can focus on their exams.
The official investiture of our New Head Boy and Head Girl will be on 17th March at 16:30 in the Hall as part of our Eisteddfod opening ceremony.
