Por séptimo año consecutivo hemos realizado en nuestro Colegio el pasado sábado 20 de febrero, un simulacro de exámenes externos de la Universidad de Cambridge. El objetivo de estas pruebas es que nuestros alumnos puedan realizar la misma prueba que realizarán en junio y una vez tengamos los resultados comprobar si tienen que trabajar algunas de las destrezas ya sea Reading comprehension, Use of English, Writing o Listening. Para el examen First Certificate hemos tenido a 79 alumnos, 38 alumnos para el examen Advanced ( nivel B según el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las lenguas ) y 2 alumnos para el examen Proficiency ( nivel B2, nivel C1, nivel C2 respectivamente según el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas ).
Este simulacro ha sido organizado por el Departamento de Idiomas para poder ayudar y motivar a los alumnos a trabajar con sus profesores estas pruebas.
Los profesores que han asistido para vigilar estas pruebas han sido Mr. Bull, Mr Gomez, Ms. Ashort, Ms. Hervella, Ms. Huertos y Ms. Navallas.
As for the past seven years in a row, a mock Cambridge University external examination took place last Saturday 20th of February. The aim of these tests is for out pupils to have the opportunity of taking the same test they will be facing in June, and once the results are received, we can check if they need to focus on any of the skills in particular, Reading Comprehension, Use of English, Writing or Listening. We had 79 pupils sitting the First Certificate examination, 38 for the Advanced (level B according to the Reference for languages European Common Framework) and 2 pupils for the Proficiency (level B2, C1, level C2 respectively according to the Reference for languages European Common Framework).
This mock examination was organised by the Languages Department in order to help and motivate pupils to work on these tests together with their teachers.
The teachers in charge of monitoring these tests were Mr. Bull, Mr Gomez, Ms. Ashort, Ms. Hervella, Ms. Huertos and Ms. Navallas.
