La Orientación Vocacional es un aspecto fundamental en nuestro Centro, siendo uno de los ejes del sistema educativo. Desde nuestra propuesta por la formación integral, creemos que el último fin de la educación es ayudar a cada uno de nuestros alumnos a encontrar un sentido en su vida y prepararse para afrontarla de forma adulta y adaptada. Así pues, esta semana hemos realizado el University and Careers Roundtable. Para el cual hemos contado con la presencia de:
– D. José María Vallejo: Director Tax Department Accounting & Supervisors, economista, abogado y conferenciante habitual en numerosos foros nacionales e internacionales sobre fiscalidad internacional.
– D. Samuel Martín-Barbero: Rector de la Universidad Camilo José Cela, Decano Asociado de IE Business School, Secretario General del Consejo Asesor Internacional del IE University y profesor de Comunicación Estratégica en dicha institución.
– Germán Beardo Caro: Presidente del PP. Licenciado en Historia y Grado en Derecho. Becario de la Cámara Oficial de Comercio, Industria y Navegación de Cádiz.
Todos contaron su experiencia profesional, guiaron a los alumnos sobre el mundo empresarial, las salidas universitarias y respondieron muy amablemente a todas las inquietudes de los alumnos, que escuchan con mucho interés.
Como conclusión final los tres ponentes aconsejaron a los alumnos que estudiaran lo que realmente les guste y les motiven.
Vocational Orientation is a fundamental aspect in our School, it being one of the cores of the education system. From our proposal for holistic education, we believe the final aim of education is to help each of our pupils to find a purpose in their lives and prepare to face it in an adult and adapted manner. Therefore, this week we carried out a University and Careers Roundtable, for which we counted on the presence of:
– Mr. José María Vallejo: Director Tax Department Accounting & Supervisors, economist, lawyer and customary lecturer in numerous national and international forums concerning international tax systems.
– Mr. Samuel Martín-Barbero: Dean of the Camilo José Cela University, Chairman of the IE Business School, General Secretary of the International Advisory Council at IE University and Strategic Communication professor at the same institution.
– Germán Beardo Caro: President of PP. Graduate in History and holds a Degree in Law. Intern in the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation in Cadiz.
They all spoke of their professional experiences, guided pupils on business world matters, university careers and very kindly answered all pupils’ questions, which they listened to with great interest.
Our final conclusion, the three speakers advised pupils to study what they really like and motivates them.
