Summer is now truly upon us and today the students from Nursery and Reception had a special visit from an expert pharmacist to learn about the positive effects and care we need to take in the warm sunshine. Living in an area like Andalucia, it is fundamental that our students understand that protecting ourselves adequately from the sun’s rays can help us to stay healthy and happy for longer.
The students have been super excited to receive a light-reactive bracelet at the end of the talk to help them remember how the sun can make our skin change, just like the bracelet.
Our expert will return next week to talk to the families about the same subject:- We can all agree that there is always something valuable to learn about how best to protect ourselves and our children coming into the summer months.
