Friday night was the turn of our oldest pupils to graduate, leaving El Centro Inglés behind and moving on to the next chapter in their lives at university. It was an emotional occasion to say goodbye to pupils who have spent so many years with us. But we do so in the knowledge that it is not a “good bye” but a “see you soon” and that they are totally prepared for whatever challenges they face. We couldn’t be prouder of the way that this generation has dealt with the difficulties and challenges of covid and it was appropriate that their graduation was altered by covid but not changed in its sentiment or meaning. There were wonderful speeches and beautiful moments in an emotional ceremony. It was also a chance for us to thank the families who had trusted us with that most sacred thing, the education of their children and worked with us to do the very best for them. So now 2º Bachillerato are ECI Alumni and we hope you enjoy the summer and stay in touch with use over the coming weeks, months and years. Congratulations to you all!!
