¡¡La primera SEMANA de la MOVILIDAD SOSTENIBLE ha finalizado con notable éxito!!
La semana tenía dos objetivos:
1.- Analizar la cantidad de CO2 que toda la comunidad de ECI emite a la atmósfera cada día en sus desplazamientos al centro.
2.- Promover que, en la medida de nuestras posibilidades, usemos durante unos días algún medio de transporte sostenible para venir al cole y volver a casa…
Para ello, cada alumno, profesor y trabajador de El Centro Inglés, ha rellenado diariamente un formulario indicando su medio de transporte habitual, el tiempo que emplea en llegar al centro en dicho vehículo, y el que ha usado cada día para llegar al cole.
Además, gracias a las gestiones de Mr. Dawe, el viernes tuvimos el privilegio de cerrar la semana con una interesantísima charla a cargo de Mr. Colin Black, un prestigioso experto en movilidad sostenible que nos atendió desde el Reino Unido, pese lo apretado de su agenda.
Confiamos en poder informar de algunos de los resultados de esta nueva iniciativa del Aula de Sostenibilidad en breve, pero a todas aquellas familias, colaboradores, trabajadores del centro y amigos que de tan buen grado habéis colaborado con esta actividad ¡¡MUCHAS GRACIAS!!
The first SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY WEEK has ended with remarkable success!!
The week had two objectives:
1.- Analyze the amount of CO2 that the entire ECI community emits into the atmosphere every day in going to the School.
2.- Promote that, to the extent of our possibilities, we use for a few days some sustainable means of transport to come to school and return home …
To do this, each English Centre pupil, teacher, and worker has filled out a daily form indicating their usual means of transport, the time they take to get to the School in that vehicle, and the one they have used each day to get to school.
In addition, thanks to the efforts of Mr. Dawe, on Friday we had the privilege of closing the week with a very interesting talk by Mr. Colin Black, a prestigious expert in sustainable mobility who spoke to us from the United Kingdom, despite the tightness of his schedule.
We hope to be able to report some of the results of this new initiative of the Sustainability Class shortly, but to all those families, collaborators, workers of the centre and friends who have so willingly collaborated with this activity THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
