El pasado jueves los alumnos de EPO, ESO y 1º Bachillerato asistieron a una Conferencia sobre las buenas prácticas del servicio de autobús. Para ello nos visitaron D. Jesús Astorga, responsable de Autocares Moreno, y D. Antonio Medina, conductor con amplia experiencia en transporte escolar. Ambos, junto nuestro Coordinador de transportes, Mr. González, informaron, entre otras cuestiones, de las normas básicas en el uso de los autobuses, la función de los cinturones de seguridad y estar siempre sentados, las precauciones a tener en cuenta en la subidas y bajadas del vehículo y la importancia de la labor del monitor de ruta. Para finalizar, se le mostró y explicó la situación y utilización de los diferentes instrumentos en caso de accidente: martillos, botón de desconexión, extintores,….. Los alumnos mostraron mucha atención y pudieron preguntar las dudas que le surgieron.
Last Thursday, Primary, Secondary and Lower Sixth Form attended a Conference regarding good praxis on the bus. To do so, we received the visit of Mr. Jesús Astorga, responsible for Moreno -coaches and Mr. Antonio Medina, bus driver with vast experience in school transport. Both, together with our transport Coordinator, Mr. Gonzalez, informed amongst other issues, about the basic rules on using the bus service, the use of the security belts and the reason behind remaining sitting, precautions to be taken while getting on and off the bus and the importance of the role of the bus route monitor. To finish with, pupils were shown and explained the location and use of the various instruments to be sued in the event of accident; hammer, disconnection buttons, fire extinguishers… pupils paid attention and were then able to ask questions.
