El pasado miércoles 3 de mayo, una vez más, los alumnos de Year 3 cumplieron su compromiso de visitar y limpiar la playa de la Muralla.
Otra ocasión para educar en valores, para hacer voluntariado ambiental y para disfrutar un día de playa de una manera diferente.
Nuestro alumnado ha vuelto a registrar los residuos y su origen para seguir analizando la evolución de los mismos en NUESTRA playa, aquella que apadrináramos hace ya 6 años.
Nuestros alumnos capearon el temporal, literalmente, y aunque realizaron gran parte del muestreo, tuvieron que volver un poco antes de la actividad debido a un importante vendaval de levante que dificultó tremendamente el desarrollo de esta actividad que, como saben, está incluida en el Curriculum de Year 3.
La próxima jornada de limpieza será con las familias que quieran asistir a compartir este compromiso con el medio y con nuestra icónica Playa de la Muralla…
Last Wednesday 3rd of May, once again, the pupils of Year 3 fulfilled their commitment to visit and clean the Muralla beach.
Another occasion to educate in values, to do environmental volunteering and to enjoy a day at the beach in a different way.
Our pupils have once again recorded the waste and its origin in order to continue analysing the evolution of waste on OUR beach, the one we sponsored 6 years ago.
Our pupils weathered the storm, literally, and although they carried out a large part of the sampling, they had to return a little early due to a strong wind from the east which made it extremely difficult to carry out this activity which, as you know, is included in the Year 3 Curriculum.
The next clean-up day will be with families who want to attend to share this commitment to the environment and to our iconic Playa de la Muralla….
