En la asamblea de esta mañana en Junior School, además de la entrega de certificados y reconocimientos a los alumnos y de una sesión sobre medio ambiente y cambio climático, nuestra directora de alumnos, Ms Smith y Mr. Olías, han anunciado la clase ganadora de nuestro concurso permanente de sostenibilidad en el Aula, reconociendo al grupo de STAGE 5 – A (4º EPO – A) como la ganadora de nuestro Green Classroom de abril. El delegado recogió el cartel que lucirá su Aula durante todo el mes y todo el alumnado del grupo recibirá una pulsera de tela que les acredita como un grupo «evironmental friendly». La semana que viene en su correspondiente asamblea, se anunciará el ganador de Senior School, que igualmente recibirá el galardón, el cartel acreditativo y las pulseras…
Gracias a todos por la participación, la implicación y la continuidad de esta compromiso ambiental, desde las aulas hasta vuestros hogares…
Nuestro centro sigue comprometido con el medio ambiente y con la playa que sus alumnos apadrinaron hace ya varios años y, por segunda vez este curos, los alumnos de YEAR 3 han dedicado su tiempo, ilusión y energía en limpiar la Playa de la Muralla y catalogar y registrar los residuos encontrados en la misma.
De este modo, el alumnado del centro mantiene su compromiso con la playa de la muralla y con su comunidad, dando continuidad a este maravillosos proyecto que abandera nuestra actitud ambientalmente comprometida, y proyectando ese compromiso hacia toda la comunidad.
Estamos la espera de la evolución de la pandemia para fechar y anunciar una última limpieza, esta vez en familia, que supondría exportar este compromiso y actitud hacia nuestro entorno, también a nuestras familias, en una jornada de convivencia y voluntariado ambiental que, estamos seguros, querréis compartir con nosotros…
During this morning’s Junior School assembly, in addition to the handing of certificates and recognitions to pupils and a session on environment and climate change, our pupil director, Ms Smith, and Mr. Olías, announced the winning class of our permanent sustainability contest in the Class, recognizing the GROUP of STAGE 5 – A (4th EPO – A) as the winner of our Green Class in April. The delegate collected the poster to be displayed in their Class throughout the month and all the pupils of the group will receive a fabric bracelet that accredits them as an «environmentally friendly» group. Next week during the corresponding assembly, the winner of Senior School will be announced, who will also receive the award, the accreditation poster, and the bracelets…

Our Centre is still committed to the environment and the beach that its pupils sponsored several years ago and, for the second time this year, the pupils of YEAR 3 have dedicated their time, enthusiasm and energy to clean the Playa de la Muralla and document and record the waste found in it.
In this way, the pupils of the School maintain their commitment with the Muralla beach and their community, giving continuity to this wonderful project that highlights our environmentally committed attitude, and projecting that commitment to the entire community.
We are waiting for the evolution of the pandemic to date and announce a last cleaning, this time as a family, which would mean exporting this commitment and attitude towards our environment, also to our families, in a day of coexistence and environmental volunteering that, we are sure, you will want to share with us …
