Eisteddfod is upon us and all over the school and in Early Years. So, we’ve been thinking about what it was like to be a prince, princess or knight in an old castle long ago. To celebrate, we’ve been making Royal Toast, spreading, swirling and decorating our special bread, fit for a king or queen.
As always, cookery is an opportunity to think mathematically, sequence, use fine motor skill, creativity and language to bring an idea to fruition. It is a workshop that always works so well because it is about learning through fun and experimentation.
