There was an incredible atmosphere in school today as pupils, families and staff came together to enjoy Family Day 2018.
There were amazing performances in the hall. First we had The English Centre Circus by our Early Years pupils. There were acrobats, clowns, strongmen, lions and tamers, dancers, magicians, bunnies and of course our two wonderful ring masters. It was a great show full of fun and colour. Well done to everybody involved.
In the second block of performances we had a real variety show. There was Poco Loco, the Greek God Rap and The Belle of Belfast City by 3º EPO, African songs and dances from 1º and 2º EPO, amazing modern dances and flamenco by of Dance School and to finish it all of there was the first performance from our amazing Parent´s Choir. To finish the afternoon we had our gymnastic club and acrosports performances.
In the park and the dining room there were games and stalls. Our social responsibility commission organised to have our friends from PATA, Madre Coraje, Association ADISCON and Fundación EMALAIKAT. There were games organised by 6º EPO as part of the ECI Global Challenge Silver Award, our tombola organised by 4º ESO for their end of year trip next year and food, drink and bouncy castles. There was also a robot activity from Tomorrow’s People.
A fantastic day was had by all.
