El pasado viernes un grupo de alumnos de 4º de ESO, presentó en el Hospital de Jerez ante el equipo médico y de enfermería correspondiente y responsables de la AECC, los proyectos realizados por el Departamento de Ciencias “Stick the Hospital” y “Tiritas de luz”, enmarcados en ECICOE (EL Centro Inglés Con el Emprendimiento). Tras la excelente explicación de Stick the Hospital, la Jefa del equipo de Hematología, maravillada, quiso ponerlo en práctica ese mismo día. Comentó que era un proyecto muy acertado con un objetivo claro, hacer más agradable la estancia en el hospital de los menores a través de un juego hecho por niños. Comentó también que intentará difundirlo a otros hospitales de España. Así que desde el mismo miércoles ya hay niños jugando gracias a la emprendedora idea de nuestros alumnos.
Los días 19, 27 de diciembre y 4 de enero, los proyectos estarán expuestos en IFECA, en Jerez.
Last Friday, in the Jerez Hospital, a group of Secondary Year 4 pupils presented the medical team, nursing team and AECC responsible, with the projects carried out by the Science Department “Stick the Hospital “and “Light Plasters”, part of ECICOE (The English Centre with Entrepreneurship). Following an excellent explanation of the Stick the Hospital, the head of the Haematology team, marvelled, wanted to put it into practice that very day. She commented it was well chosen project with a very clear objective, making the stay in hospital easier through a game made by children. She also commented she would try to share it with other hospitals in Spain. Hence, from that very Wednesday, there are children playing thanks to our pupils’ enterprising idea.
These projects will be on display on the 19th, 27th and 4th of January at IFECA Jerez.
