The values children of 1 ESO were today discussing Earth Day. They were looking at what Earth Day is and why is sends an important message to everyone around the world. They were discussing what measures we could be taking in order to minimise out carbon footprint during the current school closure.
The students discussed the continuing difficulties with recycling and household waste as well as the increased awareness of electricity use in these days of online classes. In particular the need to ensure that all of our lights are switched off when we do not need them!
We can all help the environment and if we all do our bit, we can celebrate Earth Day at home! The students one 1 ESO have made some posters to help us remember that taking care of the environment is not just important today…..but is important every day!
