#ECOStudentCommittee Hoy, de nuevo, tocaba ir a la playa de la Muralla a cumplir con nuestro compromiso de mantener limpia la playa que apadrinó nuestro alumnado hace ya varios años, pero hoy no queremos hablar de esto… La actitud de nuestro alumnado de Year 3 ha sido ejemplar, la calidad del trabajo de limpieza y del muestreo, así como la categorización de los residuos han sido impecables, pero hoy no queremos hablar de esto… Hoy queremos hablar de como nuestro proyecto, educativo, solidario y sostenible, se ha tornado también inclusivo. Hoy, hemos tenido la suerte de compartir nuestra actividad con un nutrido grupo de usuarios de AFANAS El Puerto Y Bahía que, entre sonrisas, abrazos y preguntas inquietas, han limpiado la Playa de la Muralla codo con codo con nuestros alumnos. Hoy, la jornada ha sido mucho más que una jornada de limpieza e investigación, hoy hemos trascendido la educación en valores ambientales y hemos alcanzado otro nivel de empatía y solidaridad, otro nivel de energía positiva y de sensación de orgullo de pertenencia. La complicidad entre unos y otros ha sido maravillosa de ver y de sentir, y la actividad se ha enriquecido tremendamente con la aportación que AFANAS ha hecho a nuestro proyecto y a nuestros alumnos; hoy, sin duda, ha sido un gran día… #ProyectoGaia
ECOStudentCommittee Today, once again, it was time to go to La Muralla beach to fcomply with our commitment to keep the beach clean, which our pupils sponsored several years ago, but today we don’t want to talk about this… The attitude of our Year 3 pupils has been exemplary, the quality of the cleaning and sampling work, as well as the categorisation of the waste has been impeccable, but today we don’t want to talk about this… Today we want to talk about how our educational, supportive and sustainable project has also become inclusive. Today, we have been lucky enough to share our activity with a large group of users of AFANAS El Puerto and Bahía who, amidst smiles, hugs and restless questions, have cleaned the Playa de la Muralla beach side by side with our pupils. Today, the day has been much more than a day of cleaning and research, today we have transcended the education in environmental values and we have reached another level of empathy and solidarity, another level of positive energy and a sense of pride of belonging. The complicity between each other has been wonderful to see and to feel, and the activity has been tremendously enriched by the contribution that AFANAS has made to our project and to our pupils; today, without a doubt, has been a great day… #ProyectoGaia
