Los alumnos de 1º de ESO de El Centro Inglés, como actividad incluida en el PAT, han realizado un Taller ofrecido por la Oferta Educativa del Ayuntamiento, en el que les han informado sobre el ciberbullying y el sexting, con el objetivo principal de proporcionarles una visión clara de cuáles son los riesgos de internet así como identificar las medidas preventivas para una vida online más segura. En la sesión, impartida por dos profesionales juristas expertos en casos de este ámbito, les han explicado cómo se trata los casos de ciberbullyng, sexting, la privacidad y la seguridad de las redes sociales, así como las medidas preventivas y dónde acudir, temas que inquieta tanto a los profesores como a las familias dado el uso diario en la sociedad actual.
La ponencia ha servido para que los alumnos y alumnas tengan herramientas para reconocer cómo actúan los acosadores en la red y sepan responder ante posibles casos.

Ciberbullying
The English Centre 1st of Secondary pupils took part in a workshop sponsored by the Town Hall Educational Activities Offer, activity which is included in our PAT, where they have been instructed on Cyberbullying and Sexting. The aim of this workshop is to give pupils a clear view on internets risks and to be able to identify prevention measures to ensure a safer online life. During the session, provided by two lawyers expert in this issue, pupils were explained how these cyberbullying and sexting cases are treated, spoke about privacy and security in social networks and on prevention measures and where to turn to if needed, all issues that unsettle teachers and families alike given the daily use of these networks in our current society.
The lecture has awarded pupils the tools to recognise how intruders interact in the net and know how to respond in case of need.
