Nuestra alumna Elena Jin de Year 3 ha sido galardonada con el primer premio en el Certamen Diario del Agua organizado por Diario de Jerez y El Corte Inglés. Elena presentó un vídeo en el que de manera clara y atractiva presentó la problemática actual del agua, la necesidad de que exista una conciencia global de ahorro y aprovechamiento de este recurso tan necesario. Destacó las diferencias en el consumo entre países del denominado primer y tercer mundo e hizo un alegato final a las familias pidiendo y, a la vez exigiendo que dejemos a nuestros hijos e hijas un mundo mas solidario y justo del que ellos se encontraron. Our pupil Elena Jin from Year 3 has been awarded first prize in the Water Diary Competition organised by Diario de Jerez and El Corte Inglés. Elena presented a video in which she clearly and attractively presented the current water problem, the need for a global awareness of saving and using this necessary resource. She highlighted the differences in consumption between first and third world countries and made a final plea to families asking and, at the same time, demanding that we leave our sons and daughters a world with more solidarity and justice than the one they found for themselves.
