Un año más, nuestros alumnos de Year 2 han visitado el punto limpio y el CRR (Centro de Recepción y Reciclaje). Esta visita, incluida en el currículum de la asignatura de Tecnología de Year 2, garantiza que todos nuestros alumnos pasarán en algún momento por este centro. Los alumnos comprueban de primera mano que los residuos que se depositan de manera separada en el contenedor amarillo, lejos de terminar con todos los demás residuos en el mismo sitio se separan de manera metódica y se reciclan para reducir el impacto de nuestra actividad en el medio ambiente.
Estas visitas, que cumplen ya 4 años, enriquecen la educación de nuestros alumnos, más allá de los contenidos académicos, haciéndolos ciudadanos más cívicos y comprometidos. Esperamos que vuestros hijos os expliquen en casa lo que han visto y os animen, a los que aún no separáis los residuos, a que comencéis a hacerlo.

One more year, our Year 2 pupils have visited the clean point and the CRR (Reception and Recycling Centre). This visit, included in the curriculum of the Year 2 Technology subject, guarantees that all our pupils will pass through this centre at some point. Pupils see first-hand that waste that is deposited separately in the yellow container, far from ending up with all other waste in the same place, is methodically separated and recycled to reduce the impact of our activity on the environment.
These visits, which have been running for 4 years now, enrich the education of our pupils, beyond the academic contents, making them more civic and committed citizens. We hope that your children will explain to you at home what they have seen and encourage you, those of you who have not yet separated the waste, to start doing so.
