Hoy hemos celebrado nuestra tradicional carrera solidaria, en esta ocasión a beneficio de la ONG Mensajeros de la Paz, concretamente en el proyecto que atiende a los damnificados por los terremotos de Siria y Turquia. Más de 500 alumnos de Junior y Senior School han participado en dos carreras a través de un circuito preparado los profesores de Physical Education del International Curriculum y los miembros de la Comisión de Responsabilidad Social. Cada alumno ha buscado patrocinadores para obtener su donativo según el número de vueltas realizadas. Los alumnos podrán traer sus donativos hasta el viernes de la semana que viene en el que se realizará el recuento final de lo recaudado del que volveremos a informar
Today we held our traditional charity run, and on this occasion in aid of the NGO Mensajeros de la Paz, specifically the project that helps those affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. More than 500 pupils from Junior and Senior School participated in two races through a circuit prepared by the Physical Education teachers of the International Curriculum and the members of the Social Responsibility Committee. Each pupil has sought sponsors for their donation according to the number of laps completed. Pupils will be able to bring in their donations until Friday next week when the final count will take place and we will report back.
