5 años A y B hemos disfrutado explorando nuestro Park. No solo pudimos caminar por nuestras zonas de naturaleza, además pudimos utilizar nuestros sentidos, oír, ver, oler y tocar todo lo que teníamos alrededor.

5a/b went on an exploration of our nature park. Not only did we walk through the nature area, we used our senses to hear, see, smell, and touch what was going on around us.

Los alumnos éramos muy conscientes de nosotros mismos y de nuestro alrededor. Estábamos muy contentos con todo lo que veíamos: pájaros, mariposas, insectos…Y, de pronto, nos dimos cuenta de que ya no era verano al ver las hojas  caídas y cambiando su color verde.

The pupils were very aware of self and what their senses can tell them. They were very excited about the things they saw, e.g birds and butterflies. We also tried to look for insects. The pupils soon realised that it was no longer summer as the leaves were changing. – they were no longer all green and some had fallen to the ground.

Junto a las bellotas, hojas de diversos árboles y las flores que habían caído, los alumnos descubrimos  que era otoño.

Alongside acorns, needles from different trees and the flowers that had fallen, the pupils knew the season was autumn and most of them understood the change in colour of leaves etc. 

 

Los pájaros cierran los ojos y oyen lo que ocurre a su alrededor. Podían oír niños y niñas al pasar, un pájaro, el tráfico…

The birds loved closing their eyes and listening to what was going on around them. They could hear children passing, a bird, the traffic.

Los alumnos nos  sentíamos inspirados, por lo que  decidimos dibujar aquello que reflejase lo que significa para nosotros esta estación. La calidad de los trabajos tras esta estimulación muestra  claramente el alto grado de comprensión del tema.

The pupils were inspired after their walk and we decided to draw a autumn picture of what autumn meant to us after our walk. The quality of their work after the stimulation clearly showed the extent to which they understood autumn.

Utilizamos un vocabulario inglés muy rico para nombras cosas fuera del aula y volvimos a clase con objetos recogidos durante el paseo, objetos que nos recuerdan al otoño, y que formarán  parte del taller sensorial de esta semana.

The use of spontaneous vocabulary and enrichment as pupils spoke more confidently in English outside the classroom environment. We returned to the class with objects we found outside that reminds us of autumn. This is going to be our feely station this week.
