El pasado martes 7 de marzo, tuvo lugar la primera Asamblea de alumnos de 2°, 3° y 4° de la ESO para la creación y puesta en marcha del AULA DE SOSTENIBILIDAD.
De los 107 alumnos inicialmente interesados, el aula estará conformada por unos 80 alumnos que, organizados en tres comisiones; Educación, Gestión y Voluntariado Ambiental, tratarán de proponer e implantar medidas para hacer el colegio más sostenible y reducir, en la medida de lo posible, la huella ecológica que nuestra actividad pudiera producir.
Todas las iniciativas, si bien serán tuteladas desde el Departamento de Ciencias, serán propuestas y desarrolladas por los propios alumnos, trabajando así desde el aula los valores sociales y ambientales, así como el emprendimiento.
El Aula de Sostenibilidad nace con la vocación de colaborar con las estructuras ya existentes en el Colegio en ámbitos como los valores ambientales, la gestión efectiva de los residuos generados en el centro o la educación ambiental de toda la comunidad educativa.

Last Tuesday 7th of March a pupils’ Assembly took place for pupils from Year 2, 3 and 4 in Secondary for the creation and start of the SUSTAINABILITY CLASSROOM.
Out of 107 pupils that were initially interested, the classroom will include 80 pupils organised in three commissions: Education, Management and Environmental Volunteering, who will try to propose and implement steps to make School more environmentally friendly and reduce, as much as possible, the ecological impact that our activities may produce.
All initiatives, even when they will be supervised by the Sciences Department, will be proposed and developed by pupils themselves, working this way their social and environmental values, as well as enterprising.
The Sustainability Classroom is created by the vocation of collaborating with the already existing structures at School in ambits such as environmental values, effective management of waste produce at School or environmental education of all the educative community.
The first proposals of this enthusiastic group will be published very soon.
