De nuevo, todo el Centro se reúne para comenzar con las celebraciones del Eisteddfod y nuestra tradicional ceremonia de apertura. Los alumnos de dos años estaban espectaculares con el traje tradicional galés. Tras las formalidades de los himnos de España y Gales, Mrs. Randell oficialmente inauguró el Eisteddfod tras lo cual disfrutamos del recitado del poema de Kipling “IF” y del baile de las flores de las alumnas de 3º EPO, que acompañaron el momento de la investidura de los nuevos Head Boy y Head Girl. También es el momento de agradecer su labor a los Head Boy y Head Girl salientes. La ceremonia de este año acabó con un emotivo discurso de despedida ofrecido por Paula Hortas y Jorge Barallobre.

Once again the whole school came together to begin the celebrations of The English Centre Eisteddfod in our traditional opening ceremony. The two year olds looked amazing in their traditional costumes. After the formalities of the Spanish and Welsh national anthems, beautifully played on the recorder by our choir, Mrs Randell offically opened the Eisteddfod and there was a recital of Kipling´s poem “IF” and the flower dance by our Year 3 pupils. This forms the ceremony of investiture for our New Head Boy and Head Girl. It is also a moment to thank our outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl for all of their hard work. This year’s ceremony finished with a moving speech from Paula Hortas and Jorge Barallobre who reflected on their time as Head Boy and Head girl.
