Year 1 pupils visited the market today as part of their project spectacular Spain where they follow the story of the paella. Pupils were taken on a tour of the market to see the ingredients and then walked down to the river to watch the fishing boats at work. What a fantastic way to take pupil learning out into the community and use real examples to follow up from the classroom.
