Hemos recibido la visita de la responsable del proyecto UCMAS.
Esta visita tiene como objetivo conocer cómo se están desarrollando los distintos niveles de Ucmas en nuestro colegio, en especial el método Abakin 1, de nueva incorporación para alumnos de 2º EPO.
La visita ha constado de una primera parte, más técnica, con la dirección y coordinador del Centro y después, una segunda parte más práctica, en la que han podido visitar las distintas clases y comprobar el avance de nuestros alumnos en aspectos tan importantes como memoria visual, atención, velocidad y precisión en operaciones aritméticas.
Ha sido una jornada muy positiva, en la cual hemos observado el potencial de los alumnos, sin olvidar el aspecto lúdico de la metodología.
Hemos de recordar que esta es una herramienta dentro del Proyecto Mathuring Mind del Centro.
We have received the visit of the person responsible for the UCMAS project.
The aim of this visit is to see how the various levels of UCMAS are developing in our School, especially the Abakin 1, a new stage for the Primary Year 2 pupils.
The first part of the visit was a more technical meeting with the Board of Directors and the School coordinator, and the second part was more hands-on, where they had the chance to visit the classes and verify pupils’ progress in important aspects such as visual memory, attention span, speed and accuracy in arithmetic operations.
It has been a very positive day, where we have observed pupils’ potential without losing sight of the fun aspect of this methodology.
We must remember this is a tool within the School’s Mathuring Mind Project.
