Esta mañana hemos hecho entrega a Galgos&Friends y a Solosurf de los 2.069,10€ de beneficios del Family Day.
La presidenta de la Asociación «Galgos & Friends», Dña. Lola Bustillo, nos ha explicado que dedicará esta recaudación al cuidado de las mascotas, especialmente de los galgos, exponiendo la labor de su asociación de rescate de los perros abandonados y la búsqueda de casas de acogida.
Don Jesús Borrego, El presidente de la Asociación Solosurf de Cádiz, pionera y especialista en el desarrollo de programas centrados en el surf como actividad acuática terapéutica para niños, jóvenes y adultos con autismo y diversidades funcionales mentales, nos comenta que, sin duda, este dinero será de gran ayuda para la labor que realizan.
Ambos presidentes han aprovechado además el encuentro, para agradecer a la Comisión su trabajo y esfuerzo por transmitir valores solidarios a nuestro alumnado fomentando los voluntariados que ofrecen en sus Asociaciones, y por supuesto esta última acción solidaria del curso pasado.

This morning, we delivered the €2,069.10 in profits from Family Day to Galgos&Friends and Solosurf.
The president of the «Galgos & Friends» Association, Mrs. Lola Bustillo, explained to us that this collection will be dedicated to the care of pets, especially greyhounds, highlighting the work of her association in rescuing abandoned dogs and finding foster homes for them.
Mr. Jesús Borrego, the president of the Solosurf Association from Cádiz, a pioneer and specialist in developing programs focused on surfing as a therapeutic aquatic activity for children, young people, and adults with autism and mental functional diversity, told us that without a doubt, this money will be of great help to the work they do.
Both presidents also took the opportunity during the meeting to thank the Commission for their work and effort in instilling solidarity values in our students by promoting the volunteer opportunities offered by their Associations, and of course, for this latest charitable action from the past school year.
