El pasado jueves, la Comisión de Responsabilidad Social junto al alumno de Year 4 del Social Responsibility Committee Julián Arvelo, hicieron entrega a la ASOCIACIÓN DE FAMILIARES DE ENFERMOS DE ALZHEIMER Y OTRAS DEMENCIAS «EL ARENAL DE ROTA» los 1.922,53€ recaudados en la pasada Carrera Solidaria. A la reunión, acudieron Manuel Bueno como Presidente de AFA y Laura Valverde, como Directora y Mr. Randell en representación del Consejo de Dirección de El Centro Inglés.
Los miembros de la Asociación han expuesto la labor que realizan en el centro de día ubicado en Rota, y hemos podido intercambiar impresiones sobre la labor solidaria tan necesaria en nuestros tiempos y la importancia de motivar a las nuevas generaciones en la generosidad y la solidaridad.
Last Thursday, the Social Responsibility Committee together with the Year 4 pupil of the Social Responsibility Committee Julián Arvelo, presented the 1.922,53€ raised in the last Solidarity Race to the ASSOCIATION OF FAMILIY MEMBERS OF ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE AND OTHER DISEASES «EL ARENAL DE ROTA». The meeting was attended by Manuel Bueno as President of AFA and Laura Valverde, as Director and Mr. Randell on behalf of The English Centre Board of Directors.
The members of the Association have presented the work they do in the day centre located in Rota, and we have been able to exchange views on the solidarity work so necessary in our times and the importance of motivating new generations in generosity and solidarity.
