En la tarde de ayer y hoy, a lo largo de todo el día, hemos celebrado las Jornadas sobre la Discapacidad. Diferentes ponentes han estado impartiendo charlas a todos los cursos desde Early Years hasta Bachillerato sobre discapacidad visual, auditiva e intelectual. Como todos los años han sido unos días intensos en los que la formación en valores ha acaparado el núcleo de la vida del Centro. Gracias a estos testimonios, los docentes y los alumnos nos hemos sensibilizado aún más de esta realidad social que nos reclama dar una respuesta integradora a las personas con discapacidad. Este año, todas las charlas han sido online, haciendo especial énfasis en cómo el coronavirus ha afectado a las vidas de las personas discapacitadas #proyectoOURVALUESAREWHOWEARE
Yesterday afternoon and throughout the entire day today, we have been celebrating the Day of people with Disabilities. Different speakers have been offering lectures to all the year groups, from Early Years to Sixth Form, regarding visual, auditive and intellectual impairment. Like every year, these have been intense days where teaching in values has taken over the School core. Thanks to the testimonies, teachers, and pupils, we have further raised awareness regarding this social reality that requires from us an integrating response for those with a disability. This year, all these lectures have been online, emphasising how the coronavirus has affected the lives of people with disabilities. #proyectoOURVALUESAREWHOWEARE
