Durante los dos meses de verano hemos seguido colaborando con AECC en el Hospital de Jerez con nuestro proyecto “Yo también soy científico”.
Varios de nuestros alumnos y alumnas han podido compartir con los chicos y chicas hospitalizados la realización de prácticas de química en las que el famoso “slime” ha sido el protagonista indiscutible, slime magnético, slime con purpurina, slime de cualquier forma y color pero eso si, lo fundamental es ¡qué pringue mucho!.
Nos gustaría agradecer a la AECC como tantas veces la oportunidad que les da a nuestros alumnos y alumnas de disfrutar de la compañía de estos chicos y chicas, (en esta ocasión convertidos en pequeños Einsteins) así como la involucración de sus padres y madres que la mayoría terminan participando en el taller con sus hijos.
A lo largo de este curso próximo seguiremos con dicho proyecto al que podrán acudir todos los alumnos de tercero que se ofrezcan voluntarios.
Es indiscutible la satisfacción de nuestro Centro y estamos seguros de la satisfacción de las familias de los alumnos voluntarios que se prestan a compartir su tiempo libre con estos chicos y chicas que pasan tantas horas en el hospital.
Durante el verano no han podido acudir todos los voluntarios debido a que afortunadamente la mayoría de los chicos y chicas hospitalizados disfrutaban de unas merecidas vacaciones fuera del entorno hospitalario. ¡Os damos las gracias a todos por vuestro entusiasmo con esta actividad!.
We have continued working with AECC in the Jerez Hospital throughout the summer months with our “I too am a scientist” project. Some of our pupils were able to share chemistry experiments with the hospitalised boys a girls where the famous “slime” was the absolute focus point, magnetic slime, glitter slime, any type of slime, shape or colour, but of course the key to it is that it needed to be very sticky!
We would like to once again thank AECC for as always giving our pupils the opportunity to enjoy the company of these boys and girls (on this occasion turned into little Einsteins) as well as for parents’ involvement, most of the end up taking part in the workshops together with their children.
We will continue with this project this coming academic year, where all year 3 pupils who volunteer will be able to attend. Our School’s satisfaction is undeniable, and we are sure about the satisfaction of our volunteer pupils’ families’, pupils who share their spare time with children who spend so many hours in hospital.
Not all volunteers were able to visit this summer as most of the hospitalised children enjoyed well deserved holidays outside the hospital environment. We thank you all for your enthusiasm with this activity!
