Aunque los miembros del pasado curso ya llevan algunas semanas trabajando, el pasado viernes se convocó la primera asamblea de alumnos interesados en trabajar por el Medio Ambiente en nuestro Centro.
Así, más de cuarenta alumnos se reunieron en el Common Room para tomar contacto con el grupo de trabajo, analizar los proyectos realizados el año pasado y comentar las líneas estratégicas de trabajo para el presente curso lectivo.
Los alumnos que componen el Aula de Sostenibilidad realizarán diversos proyectos encaminados a mejorar la gestión de los residuos no peligrosos en el centro, a reducir el consumo del agua, a sensibilizar a la comunidad ECI en diversos ámbitos y a fomentar la participación y el compromiso de toda la Comunidad ECI en materia de Medio Ambiente, entre otros muchos proyectos de los que iremos informando puntualmente.
Mucha ilusión, mucha energía y mucho compromiso que nuestros alumnos invertirán en mejorar nuestro entorno y reducir el impacto ambiental que la actividad de nuestro colegio pudiera ocasionar al Medio Ambiente.
Although last years’ members have already been working for some weeks now, last Friday we held the first assembly for those pupils interested in working for the Environment in our School.
So, over 40 pupils met in the Common Room to make contact with the work team, analyse projects carried out last year and comment strategic lines of work for the current academic year.
Pupils part of the Sustainability Class carry our various projects aimed towards an improved management of the non-dangerous residues in the School, to reduce water consumption, raise awareness in the ECI community regarding various matters and encourage ECI Community participation and commitment in taking care of the Environment and many other projects we will come reporting on.
A lot of enthusiasm, a lot of energy and a lot of commitment which our pupils will invest in improving our environment and reducing the environmental impact our School activity may be causing to the Environment.
