Los responsables del Proyecto Gaia y del Aula de Sostenibilidad han visitado hoy el centro donde se ultima nuestro ECO Punto Solidario, que será entregado en breve. Mr. Galvin y Mr. Olías han podido comprobar “in situ” las evoluciones de esta estructura, que aunará un ejemplo de cada uno de los residuos que se van a gestionar en el centro, y cuyo valor será dedicado a fines sociales, y la recogida de los materiales y donaciones de las numerosas campañas solidaras que lidera nuestra comisión de Responsabilidad Social…
Así, en breve, podremos ver en un único punto de recogida, una pequeña muestra de algunas de las iniciativas que, en materia de Medio Ambiente y de Solidaridad, se desarrollan en nuestro centro.
En este punto se recogerán para su gestión estos residuos:
– Vidrio
– Papel
– Envases
– Cartuchos de tinta y Toners
– Aceite
– Pilas
– Pequeños aparatos electrónicos (teléfonos, cargadores, consolas, etc…)
– Bolígrafos y rotuladores usados
– Tapones
Y además, se podrán depositar con fines sociales:
– Material escolar nuevo
– Ropa
– Latas, mantas, etc (según la campaña activa)
Esperamos que el ECO Punto Solidario estará operativo muy pronto. Les invitamos a darle utilidad y a concienciar a toda la comunidad ECI de la importancia de su uso y de la correcta gestión de los residuos…
Seguiremos informando de las acciones que, para la reducción de la huella ecológica del centro, emprenda el Aula de Sostenibilidad gestionada por los alumnos.
Those responsible for the Gaia Project and the Sustainability Class visited the centre where our ECO Solidarity Spot is being prepared and that will soon be delivered. Mr. Galvin and Mr. Olias were able to see the structure’s evolution “in situ”, which will include a sample of each of the residues the school will be dealing with, the value of which will go to social purposes, the collection of materials and the donations to the numerous solidarity campaigns the run by our Social Responsibility Commission…
Hence, we will soon see in one sole collection point, a small sample of some of the initiatives, linked with the Environment and Solidarity, taking place in our School.
The following residues will be collected at this place:
– Glass.
– Paper.
– Containers.
– Ink cartridges and toners.
– Batteries.
– Small appliances (telephones, charges, consoles, etc…)
– Used pens and felt tip pens.
– Bottle tops.
We may also deposit for social purposes:
– New school resources
– Clothes
– Tins, blankets etc (running alongside campaigns)
We hope the ECO Solidarity Spot will be up and running very soon. We invite you to make use of it and to raise awareness regarding its use and the correct management of residues in the entire ECI community.
We will continue informing of the actions, to reduce the School’s carbon footprint, launched by the Sustainability Class…
