Ayer lunes durante la clase de Química de 2º de Bachillerato los alumnos recibieron a nuestra ECI Alumni y anterior Head Girl, Paula Hortas Grandal. El motivo de su visita ha sido la orientación para el estudio de dicha asignatura de cara a la PEBAU.
Paula ha ahondado en las pautas que marca el Centro para dicha prueba, haciéndoles ver a los alumnos la necesidad del trabajo diario sin estrés, la necesidad de organización, les ha puesto encima de la mesa la necesidad de ocuparse de las asignaturas para después no tener que preocuparse.
Durante toda la hora de clase los chicos han estado pendientes de los consejos de «una experta» que han sabido agradecerle al final de la charla.
Paula ha sabido transmitirles el equilibrio perfecto entre trabajo, diversión, sueño y en sus propias palabras «una buena alimentación» que les llevará al mismo éxito que ella tuvo en dicha prueba externa, no solo en Química sino en todas las asignaturas.
Yesterday Monday, during the Upper Sixth Form Chemistry class, pupils received the visit of ECI Alumni and Previous Head Girl, Paula Hortas Grandal. The aim of her visit was to offer guidance regarding how to study for this subject for PEBAU purposes.
Paula discussed, in depth, the guidelines the School sets for these tests, proving the need for stress-free daily work and organisation. She also addressed the need to deal with all subjects in order to avoid future worry.
Pupils were eager to hear all the advice offered by “an expert” and thanked her at the end of the intervention.
Paula has known hoe to express the correct balance between work, fun, sleep and, in her own words, “ a healthy eating habit” that will take them to the same success she achieved in this external test, not just in Chemistry, but also in all subjects.
