El Proyecto Looking to the Future (Mirando al futuro) por el que el Colegio realizará la ampliación de sus instalaciones continua su curso.
El Centro y Felipe Castellano han llegado a un acuerdo para que esta empresa constructora sea la encargada de la ejecución de las obras de ampliación de las instalaciones del Centro.
Debido a los retrasos producidos en la concesión de las licencias, la anterior empresa adjudicataria de las obras -Sacyr Construcción, S.A.- y El Centro Inglés, decidieron la resolución amistosa del acuerdo firmado una vez finalizada la fase de construcción de los comedores provisionales.
Tras la concesión de las correspondientes licencias se inició, por parte de El Centro Inglés, un nuevo proceso de contratación entre las empresas finalistas de la fase anterior, resultando elegida Felipe Castellano como la constructora que finalmente ejecutará las obras.
Dicho proyecto contempla la ampliación de las instalaciones y su integración con los edificios actuales, respetando todas las zonas verdes existentes como zonas de recreo para sus alumnos. De igual forma, se construirán en el Colegio amplios espacios destinados a la educación con nuevas aulas, renovadas áreas de servicios comunes, como el comedor, zonas deportivas con una piscina cubierta y pistas de pádel, y contemplando la ampliación de las oficinas de Administración y áreas de Atención a las Familias.
Está previsto que, una vez que finalicen las obras de urbanización y adecuación de accesos que se están llevando a cabo en el entorno del Colegio, los trabajos de construcción del proyecto de ampliación se inicien durante este próximo verano.
The School Project Looking to the Future that will carry out the enlargement of its facilities keeps going.
The School and Felipe Castella came to an agreement for this building company to be in charge of the building works for the enlargement of the School facilities.
Due to the delays provoked by the licenses award, the previous company in charge of the building works –Sacyr Construcción, S.A.- and The English Centre decided to dissolve in a friendly way the agreement signed once the provisional lunch rooms building is over.
After the awarding of the correspondent licenses, we started at The English Centre a new hiring process among the finalist companies from the previous phase, from which we selected Felipe Castellano as the building company that will finally carry out the building works.
This project includes the enlargement of facilities and their integration with the current buildings, respecting the existent green areas for pupils’ playgrounds. In the same way, large spaces for education will be built at School for education such as new classrooms, areas for common services, lunch room, sport areas with an indoor pool and paddle pitches, and including the enlargement of the Administration and Families Support areas.
It is planned that, once the urbanization and accesses works that are being done around School, the building works in the enlargement project start during the next summer.
