Acaba por fin nuestro primer y largo día de intercambio.
Salimos muy temprano 04:30, y terminamos bastante tarde… Dos horas y media de Bus hasta Málaga, dos más esperando el avión, dos de vuelo y otras dos de bus.
Todo merece la pena cuando ves las caras de excitación de nuestros alumnos al ver a “sus” galeses esperando en el colegio. Abrazos, sonrisas: maravilloso y esperado reencuentro. Mr. Salmon nos recibe con tremenda cordialidad y cariño, para transmitirnos el entusiasmo y el compromiso que Olchfa School ha demostrado tener con este proyecto… y con unos típicos dulces típicos de Gales que merecen ser mencionados.
Nuestros alumnos dejan el colegio, ya con sus compañeros galeses, y tienen su primer rato familiar para conocerse y entregar algunos regalos. A las 22:00 retorno a casa, repaso de las normas básicas de convivencia, duchas y a dormir… la semana va a dar para muchas cosas…
Our first and long exchange day is over at last.
We left very early, at 4.30am, and we finished quite late… Two and a half hours by bus to Malaga, two more waiting for the plane, two for the flight and another two by bus.
But everything is worthy when you see the excitement faces in our pupils when they saw their Welsh friends waiting at School. Hugs, smiles: a wonderful meeting. Mr. Salmon received us cordially and happily transmitting us enthusiasm and engagement that Olchfa School has demonstrated for this project with some typical Welsh pastry that has to be mentioned.
Our pupils leave School, already with their Welsh peers, and have their first family time to get to know each other and have some presents. At 10.00pm they went back home to review the basic rules for living together, showers and sleeping… the week will have a lot of things…
