Desde el pasado mes de enero nuestra alumna de 6º de EPO, Carmen Velasco, está participando en los ensayos del musical Billy Elliot. La historia de esta bonita e increíble experiencia comienza en el mes de noviembre cuando se presentó en Madrid al casting para el musical. Poco a poco, durante dos días, fue superando las diferentes pruebas: danza, canto e interpretación. Finalmente, tras una entrevista personal, fue elegida y becada junto a 35 niñas más para el curso de formación que actualmente realiza todos los fines de semana en Madrid, donde recibe clases de canto, interpretación y TAP, Jazz Contemporáneo, danza Clásica, entre otros.
Desde aquí felicitar a Carmen por este tremendo éxito, fruto de su trabajo de muchos años y deseando poder verla actuar a partir del 5 de octubre en Madrid.
From last January our pupil from Year 6 in Primary, Carmen Velasco, is participating in the Billy Elliot Musical rehearsals. The story of this beautiful and incredible experience started in November when she participative in the casting for the musical in Madrid. Little by little, as days passed, she passed different auditions: dance, singing and acting. Finally, after a personal interview, she was chosen and given a scholarship together with other 35 girls for the training cause that she is currently attending every weekend in Madrid, where she receives singing, acting and TAP, Contemporary Jazz, classical dancing lessons, among others.
From School we would like to congratulate Carmen for this huge success, result of many years work and we are hoping to see her acting from the 5th of October in Madrid.
