Alumnos de 4º de EPO visitaron la Biblioteca Municipal de El Puerto de Santa María. La actividad se desarrolló en la sala de lectura de infantil y juvenil.
Los alumnos sentados en diferentes mesas, escucharon con gran atención las explicaciones de la bibliotecaria . Se les enseñó cómo estaban catalogados los libros y cómo se ordenan por colores en las distintas estanterías.
La bibliotecaria les hizo una pequeña introducción de lo que es una biblioteca municipal comparándola con una biblioteca escolar. Tras las explicaciones, tuvieron que realizar una actividad. Se les repartió unos folios en los que se les pedía hacer la búsqueda de ciertos libros. Los alumnos participaron muy activamente en las distintas búsquedas. Después la bibliotecaria fue revisando y comentando el trabajo hecho por cada alumno.
Our pupils in Year 4 in Primary visited the Town Library in El Puerto de Santa María. They carried out an activity in the children and youngsters room.
Pupils, sitting in different tables, heard the explanations of the librarian. They were taught about how the books are catalogued and ordered in the different shelves.
The librarian made a brief introduction about what a library is, comparing it to the school library. After these explanations, they had to do an activity. They were given paper in which they had to find some books. Pupils participated very actively in the searches. Afterwards the librarian checked and commented the work done by each pupil.
