Los niños de 1º de EPO han disfrutado mucho su visita al Mercado de Abastos de El Puerto de Santa María. Estuvieron buscando los mejores ingredientes para cocinar una riquísima paella. Hasta pudieron entrar dentro de la cámara de carne para ver vacas enteras colgando del techo. Los vendedores de los puestos de especias se asombraron de cuánto sabían sobre el azafrán.
Caminaron hasta el río y buscaron barcos de pesca. Algunos de ellos hasta vieron peces nadando.
Tuvieron una mañana muy divertida en la que aprendieron mucho y disfrutaron en el parque. Están deseando volver a disfrutar del aprendizaje fuera del Colegio.
Year 1 enjoyed their visit to the market in El Puerto de Santa Maria. They were looking for the best ingredients to make a fantastic paella.They were even allowed to go into the meat fridge where they saw whole cows hanging. The spice stall holders were impressed with their knowledge of saffron.
They walked to the river and spotted fishing boats. Some of them noticed fish swimming along.
They had a fun morning, learnt a lot and enjoyed having fun in the riverside park. They are looking forward to our next opportunity to learn outdoors.
