Los alumnos de Year 1 A y B han disfrutado de la salida a la ciudad romana de Baelo Claudia.
Los alumnos habían investigado en clase de Sociales sobre cada una de las partes de la ciudad que hoy iban a visitar, y han explicado por grupos a sus compañeros lo que habían descubierto: los templos, el acueducto, el teatro, las termas, los salazones y la famosa salsa garum, la basílica, el foro, la estatua de Trajano así como las viviendas de la época.
A pesar de las intensas rachas de levante, Baelo Claudia nos ha recibido tan hermosa como siempre y hemos aprendido mucho más acerca de la cultura romana.
Year 1 A and B pupils enjoyed their trip to the Roman city of Baelo Claudia.
The pupils had researched in Social Studies about each of the parts of the city they were going to visit today and explained in groups to their classmates what they had discovered: the temples, the aqueduct, the theatre, the baths, the salted fish and the famous garum sauce, the basilica, the forum, the statue of Trajan as well as the houses of that era.
Despite the strong easterly gusts, Baelo Claudia welcomed us as beautiful as ever and we learned a lot more about the Roman culture.
