El pasado lunes, D. Alejandro Peña Pérez, abogado especialista en inmigración y extranjería, y padre de alumnos de nuestro Colegio, dirigió una interesante charla a nuestro alumnado desde Year 2 a Year 4 sobre los Derechos Humanos y su relación con la inmigración. Insistió en mitos existentes en torno a la inmigración para poder desmontar algunos tópicos que fomentan la xenofobia y el racismo. Además alentó a los alumnos a que cuando finalicen su etapa escolar estudien aquello que les apasione para que sean felices en sus futuros trabajos. Agradecemos a D. Last Monday, Mr. Alejandro Peña Pérez, a lawyer specialising in immigration and foreigners, and father of pupils from our school, gave an interesting talk to our pupils from Year 2 to Year 4 regarding Human Rights and their link with immigration. He insisted on existing myths about immigration in order to dismantle some of the clichés that encourage xenophobia and racism. He also encouraged the pupils to study what they are passionate about when they finish school so that they can be happy in their future jobs. We would like to thank Mr. Alejando for his interesting talk and his offer for future talks.
