La semana pasada Ms Smith – Pupils´Director, Ms Vincent – Early Years Deputy Head y Mr Randell – Principal, acudieron a la III Edición de EDUFÓRUM de ACADE donde situación actual de la enseñanza privada y las consecuencias de la pandemia sobre la misma fueron el eje central de la presentación del Presidente de ACADE, D. Juan Santiago García. También intervinieron la Viceconsejera de Política Educativa de la Comunidad de Madrid, Dña. Rocío Albert López-Ibor, y el Secretario de Estado de Educación, D. Alejandro Tiana Ferrer.
Entre los ponentes destacamos a D. Francisco Mora, experto en Neurociencia, a quien tuvimos el placer de conocer en las Charlas de Conectando con la Sociedad que realizamos en el 50 Aniversario del Centro. También la presentación de AcadeJobs y la ponencia de Belén Grana, Descodificando generaciones futuras en educación. Todos realizando hincapié en el futuro de la educación y las competencias digitales.
Este mismo día se celebró la Gala de los VIII Premios Educación y Libertad en el ámbito Excelencia e Innovación Educativa, de los que ECI fuimos finalistas en la categoría Convivencia y Clima Escolar, con nuestro proyecto Mindfulness, ¡Damos la enhorabuena a todos los centros premiados!
Como finalistas obtuvimos dos entradas para el parque temático PuyDuFou que nuestra Pupils´ Director, Ms Smith, sorteará entre los coordinadores de Mindfulness, ¡Próximamente anunciaremos a los ganadores!

Last week Ms Smith – Pupils ́Director, Ms Vincent – Early Years Deputy Head and Mr Randell – Principal, attended the III Edition of EDUFÓRUM of ACADE where the current situation of private education and the consequences of the pandemic on it were the central axis of the presentation of the President of ACADE, Mr. Juan Santiago García. The Deputy Minister of Educational Policy of the Community of Madrid, Mrs. Rocío Albert López-Ibor, and the Secretary of State for Education, Mr. Alejandro Tiana Ferrer, also intervened.
Among the speakers we highlight Mr. Francisco Mora, an expert in Neuroscience, whom we had the pleasure of meeting in the Connecting with Society Talks that we held on the 50th Anniversary of the Centre. Also the presentation of AcadeJobs and the presentation of Belén Grana, Decoding future generations in education. All emphasizing the future of education and digital skills.
This same day was held the Gala of the VIII Education and Freedom Awards in the field of Excellence and Educational Innovation, of which ECI were finalists in the category Coexistence and School Climate, with our project Mindfulness, We congratulate all the awarded schools!
As finalists we got two tickets to the PuyDuFou theme park that our Pupils’ Director, Ms Smith, will raffle among the Mindfulness coordinators, we will soon announce the winners!
