Our 4ESO students today connected online with Derby University. They had a talk about university life and studying there as a foreign student from Mikaela Green, International Officer for Europe, and Aurora Asenjo Guerra (a Spanish student studying at Derby). They were also treated to a workshop on about innovation in the tourism industry from Duncan Marson whose a lecturer in Tourism Management at Derby university.
Students learnt how Covid had forced the tourism industry to be more innovative and learnt about how some areas like the Faroe Islands had adapted.
