El pasado jueves 4 de febrero y por vez primera en este curso, se reunió el Comité Ambiental de El Centro Inglés. Este órgano consultivo se constituyó hace ya 4 años, está compuesto por miembros de la directiva, profesores, alumnos del Aula de Sostenibilidad, padres y madres del centro relacionad@s con el Medio Ambiente y otr@s que, teniendo relación con el centro como asociaciones colaboradoras, son personas autorizadas en el entorno del Medio Ambiente. En esta ocasión, además, nos acompañó de nuevo el Concejal de Medio Ambiente y Playas, D. Millán Alegre, que valoró muy positivamente todas las iniciativas y propuestas desarrolladas en estos años, así como las propuestas para este curso. Debemos agradecer también la presencia de D, Pedro Pablo Molina y de D. Rafael Rivas, dos miembros que asisten regularmente a las reuniones del comité y que aportan una interesante perspectiva, como profesionales del Medio Ambiente y como padres del centro
La reunión resultó muy provechosa y, cumpliendo con las expectativas y el motivo de su creación, sirvieron para sentar las bases de las estrategias a seguir en materia de Medio Ambiente en nuestro centro. Una vez más, y así lo valoraron nuestros colaboradores y el propio Concejal de Medio Ambiente, nuestro centro se destaca en un ámbito relacionado con el compromiso con la comunidad y la educación en valores…
The English Centre environmental Committee met for the first time this year, las 4th of February. This consulting committee was established 4 years ago, and it is formed by members of the Board of Directors, teachers, Sustainability Class pupils, fathers and mothers of the School linked to the Environment and other matters, linked to the school as collaborating associations, leading members in the field of Environment. On this occasion, we were also accompanied by D. Millán Alegre, Environment and Beaches Councillor, who values positively all the initiatives and proposals developed these past years, as well as those pertaining to this academic year. We are also grateful for the presence of D, Pedro Pablo Molina and D. Rafael Rivas, two members who regularly attend these committee meetings and who contribute with interesting perspectives as Environmental professionals and school parents.
