Our ECI Global Challenges are coming to the end of their time in Wales. The last couple of weeks have been very special. Apart from their usual daily routine at St. Michael’s school with their friends and teachers pupil’s also had the chance to visit Newton Primary School’s Eisteddfod assembly. Challengers have continued to develop their skills, lighting fires safely, tying different kinds of knots and lots more. They have helped around the community, working together and learning how to give back. After parent’s weekend 2 weekends ago, this weekend was the ECI Global Challenge physical challenge, walking from Ael y Bryn to Swansea Harbour in 45 with Mr and Mrs Randell. After all that effort there was a traditional roast dinner. On Sunday challengers visited a real Welsh farm in lambing season and were even lucky enough to see a lamb being born.
It has been an unforgettable experience in Wales and we are sure that all of our challengers will get their bronze badge when they return to ECI. Well done everyone!!!!!!!!!
