Nuestra Jefa del Dpto de Orientación, Ms Torres, está trabajando con los alumnos de 3º de ESO el Cuaderno de Orientación Vocacional.
Estas actividades tienen como objetivo reflexionar sobre una serie de cuestiones que les pueden ir ayudando a perfilar lo que les gustaría hacer en el futuro. Los cuadernos proporcionarán también pistas para realizar una adecuada elección cuando termine el curso, de cara a 4º ESO, donde tendrán que elegir un bloque de asignaturas que el Centro oferta.
Para ello, tomamos como referencia una serie de actividades que el Dpto. de Orientación ha elaborado de distintas fuentes. Las actividades se organizan en torno a distintas cuestiones:
-Conocimiento del sistema educativo.
-Autoconocimiento: cuestiones que me interesan, que me gustan, principales aficiones…
-Historial académico: explorando el rendimiento escolar-
-Explorando mis aptitudes: ¿qué cosas se nos dan bien?
-Definiendo mi personalidad
-Conociendo mis intereses profesionales
-Investigando profesiones
Todo esto, ha sido apoyado además con sesiones de información sobre el sistema educativo, los itinerarios de 4º de ESO, de Bachillerato, tanto para los alumnos como para las familias, trabajando coordinadamente con el ETCP, la Subdirección y los Tutores.
Our Head of the Guidance Department, Ms. Torres, is working with Secondary Year 3 pupils on the Vocational Orientation Booklet.
The aim of these activities is to consider a series of matters which may help them start to define what they would like most to do in the future. These booklets also provide ideas for pupils to make an adequate decision regarding their studies, where they have to choose a subjects block from those offered in School, when they finish Secondary Year 4.
To do so, we take as a reference a series of activities the Guidance Dept. has created. The activities in this course are organised to address the following aspects:
- Understanding of the Educational System
- Self-awareness: what interests me, what I like, my hobbies…
- Academic record, I explore my academic track.
- My academic aptitudes, what are we good at?
- Defining my personality
- Knowing my professional interests
- Investigating careers.
All this follows informative sessions regarding the education system, the Secondary Year 4 and Sixth Form itineraries, both for pupils and families, working in coordination with ETCP, the Deputy Heads and the Tutors.
