The first five days in Wales have been a whirlwind of excitement and new experiences for our Global Challengers of 5EPO. The brave seven pupils departed in the early hours last Friday and have been frantically busy ever since. From collecting leaves in the woods to visiting the local library and art gallery, the impressive cohort have enjoyed getting to know Mumbles and the surrounding area.

Meal times have been tremendously popular too, especially after Sunday afternoon spent on the rapids and slides at the water park. Resident chef and housekeeper Pearl has prepared delicious and healthy food, including a traditional Sunday roast, Chinese food for the New Year and Mexican night. The comfort of Welsh cakes and crumpets have been popular too!

The first day at St. Michael’s School started with some trepidation, which quickly faded away when our pupils were met by warm and friendly boys, girls and teachers from the host school. With immediate integration into the school community, our team of seven fearless challengers have now embraced their new friendships and embarked on their second day enthusiastically.
