El pasado fin de semana se celebró en Conil de la Frontera la II Copa de Andalucía de Esgrima M15 – M17 y Criterium Andaluz de Esgrima M11 – M13 en las tres modalidades de armas. Dos alumnos de 5º EPO de nuestro Colegio, Gonzalo Arcay y Pepe Sánchez, lograron la medalla de plata en la categoría M11 años en la modalidad de espada.
Enhorabuena por este primer éxito deportivo en Esgrima para alumnos de ECI, felicitar también a Ms. Ileana Duarte por su magnífico trabajo. Recordamos que Ms Duarte estuvo compitiendo en la Selección de Cuba 8 años y 7 años en la española, además seleccionadora del Equipo de España dos veces. Una garantía de para nuestro Colegio.
The II Andalucia Fencing Cup M15 – M17 and the Fencing Andaluz Criterium M11 – M13 in its three weapons modalities was held last weekend in Conil de la Frontera. Two of Primary year 5 pupil from our School, Gonzalo Arcay and Pepe Sánchez, achieved silver medal in the M11 year olds category in the sword category.
Congratulation for this first Fencing achievement for ECI pupils, and congratulations also to Ms Ileana Duarte for her wonderful work. We remind Ms. Duarte competed in the Cuba national team for 8 years and 7 years in the Spanish one, she has also coached the Spanish Team on two occasions. A true guarantee for our School.
